The Best Getups At The Grammys

We asked our Instagram followers what they thought of the craziest outfits from the Grammys, from this past January. To be honest, we were surprised by some pretty critical ratings but enjoyed reading your thoughts. Here are the ratings on the unique fashion of some of your favorite celebrities:

Our opinion: We loved the unique clothing choices that Billie brought us but can see why our viewers thought that “Billie’s print looks like a crocodile.” The color coordination with the hair, nails, and outfit adds a unique touch that she can definitely pull off.  We believe that the use of the mask is interesting at this time because it could possibly resemble an introduction to the coronavirus. In a recent advertisement with Calvin Klein, Billie explains that she chooses this baggy style because she does not want anyone to have the opportunity to judge her body. She told Teen Vogue: “I like being able to express myself with clothing. I don't mind being judged so if someone doesn't like what I wear I am OK with it.” You are a queen, Billie; keep doing what you are doing.

Our opinion: WOW, Billy Porter’s outfit is definitely one to remember! All we can think when we see this outfit is that he is killing it. As said by Allure, “Porter was a one-part matador, one-part disco divo.” The actor wore a sparkly, electric-blue custom Baja East jacket and shimmering electric-blue jumpsuit finished off with silver fringe at the bottom. To accompany the look, he wore a wide brim hat and glittery silver boots. And how can you not notice his makeup? Billy Porter incorporated a winged liquid eye shadow and silver manicure. We are just loving this look.

#3 Tyler, the Creator

Our opinion: As Lotti said, we just love this! It is fairly simple (for the Grammys at least) but we love the white Dr. Martens with the light pink suit. The suitcase ties the “bellboy” vibes together, and we cannot help but appreciate his proper, white gloves. :) This look was our favorite of the night because it went along with a theme, and you cannot go wrong with Dr. Martens. He just looks so stylish!

Our opinion: We can see why our followers loved this outfit the most. The outfit was simple, yet bold. Gray was a unique color choice for this massive, ball-gown style dress, and Ariana definitely rocked it. And we wonder how much the tulle weighs! Ariana is always gorgeous when arriving at any award show, and this look is no exception. We wish we could wear this fit.

Our opinion: This dress is visually stunning. It is a more simple clothing choice than some of the previous options above, but the design and shape of the dress are still wildly creative. We adore the pattern and the addition of the gold across her waist. The nature-inspired designs are whimsical and vibrant. Plus, the sunglasses have a sunset-like hue to them that complements the patterns of her dress. Beautiful!
